Write for us

Open Racing Review welcomes well-focused ideas that help readers understand racing more clearly. Contributions should explain a subject with care, define specialist language and suit readers who may not know every discipline.

What we welcome

We consider pitches about racing formats, racecraft, circuit features, vehicle design, equipment and sporting traditions. Strong proposals have a clear reader question and a distinct angle, such as explaining a concept, comparing two approaches or placing a familiar feature in context.

What makes a good pitch

Tell us the working title, the central point, why it will help readers and the key material you would use. Keep the scope manageable and flag where rules or terminology vary between disciplines. We do not seek unsupported claims, promotional copy or pieces that depend on professional advice.

How to send an idea

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please include only material you are comfortable sharing for editorial consideration.
